【讲课要点】：女教授讲two drawbacks of making a detailed plan：

Drawback 1、once cannot achieve a goal，people will feel frustrated。例子：the professor once made a detailed plan for everyday （use how much time to to read，to have class，to do exercises），but she finally found that she could not finish them and eventually gave up to try them any more，so,she felt frustrated。

Drawback 2、People always think that a plan will progress smoothly without any interruption，but things often are not like what people expected。例子：one of the professor’s colleague asked her to help to review a paper。She expected that it was easy to do，and she believed that she could finish it within two hours。However, when she started to review，the profess found that she didn't know the topic well and she needed to search more many details。In the end，she couldn’t finish the review and had to ask her colleague for more time to review the paper。 [2011.12.18/2011.6.10北美]
